Hello and welcome to Mio’s journal!

For a while, I’ve been wanting to share more of my artistic process and insight behind my work, and been trying to decide how to do it. Eventually, I decided to keep it simple, go old school, and make a process blog! So this is that, and I’m hoping that there may be something to gain from it!

To begin with, I’m going to be posting weekly about my process from beginning to end, both with new and old projects! What you can expect is notes from my research, lots of reference images, plenty of sketches, and hopefully some insight into how I create my work! I love to talk about art and the process behind it so I’m very excited to get this started.
